Keep Breathing

-- THE PREMISE --

Athena must pilot the mech DIO and lead her friends across the wasteland in the search of seeds and other resources that can help her fledgling society of Mechfall develop a sustainable source of oxygen.

-- THE GAME PLAY --

This is a small RPG with turn based combat where you have to kill and scavenge to harvest oxygen, which you need to explore. There are unlockable party members, skills and items that can mix up the combat and exploration. 

-- THE ART STYLE --

The game is made from several hand crafted elements. I thought it'd be fun to mess around with art styles and decided on the people being ink drawings, the kaiju being clay, the robots and machines being arts and crafts and the computer screens and holograms being pixel art. In a word, it's eclectic. I'm quite a scrappy artist and I've plugged away at this over the last few months in what little spare time I've been able to afford.

-- NEXT STEPS --

I'll make a proper devlog at a later date, but essentially, the game isn't perfect. It's a weird little experiment that I thoroughly enjoyed making and hope you enjoy playing. Please let me know how you get on and if you have any feedback. :) I'll do any needed bug fixes or tweaks when I get a chance. I'll also get in touch with Itch.io to see if I can have more space on this page to upload more ports.
